Premiere: Fort Romeau shares ‘Reasons’ for getting deep on first self-released EP
Showcasing the evolution of his sound
Berlin based DJ and producer Fort Romeau presents a deeply ethereal and atmospheric excursion with ‘Reasons’, his first self-released EP that showcases the scope of his hypnotic sound profile.
Following releases on Ghostly International, Cin Cin, Running Back and Live At Robert Johnson, Fort Romeau delivers his first original EP since last year’s ‘Secrets & Lies’. He’s touched on a variety of motifs throughout his career, from acid to more delicate styles, now he offers the full package with his latest release.
Paired with steady, driving rhythm and enveloping atmospherics Fort Romeau plays with seductive vocals to create an eerie, yet inviting soundscape on ‘Reasons’. The title track off the new EP builds into a crescendo of synth with a subtle release to cap off the dreamy production.
Two more originals are found on the ‘Reasons’ EP, which is set for release June 16.
