Woah there, file this one under biggie as Jack Beats have remixed Danny Brown
When Danny Brown dropped his debut album 'Old' via Fool's Gold Records last year, both the dance music and hip-hop world rejoiced as the foul-mouthed rapper impressed across the board with steam-rolling bars and side-winding beats.
One of the most hyped tracks was 'Smokin and Drinkin' which features the production skills of A-Trak and JMIKE and now Brown has released the song as a single today. Naturally the EP comes packed with some killer remixes from Boys Noize, DJ Sliink and TroyBoi and one other, which we have the premiere of.
Noisy UK duo Jack Beats have reworked Brown's firery lyrics into a 4/4 storm. You can expect a flurry of acidic bass stabs, sharp vocal cuts and some added energy from the off. We didn't think this track could get bigger, it just did.
