Premiere: CRIMES! rolls out some bleep-filled halftime savagery on 'Videowarp'
He's up next for Ivy Lab's 20/20 LDN label
Portland producer CRIMES! is the latest producer to have a run out on Ivy Lab's 20/20 LDN.
His hook-up with the label comes after 'Autoraw' on Saturate Records, a collection of revved up, wonky beats falling under the halftime umbrella. 'FXXXUp' stands out, combining hacksaw synths and playful video game bleeps, while 'Wompers' hits you as hard as the title suggests.
The forthcoming 'Lords' EP is a small bundle of roaring tunes armed with fizzing synths, gurgling drums and dizzying melodies. On our premiere 'Videowarp', CRIMES! takes us into a Nintendo wonderland with zinging tones, which go up against the most savage of murmurs.
