Posthumous MC Conrad album to land in 2025, ‘Con*Natural’
All proceeds from the record will go toward the MC Conrad Foundation supporting independent artists
A posthumous album from the late drum 'n' bass vocalist MC Conrad, titled ‘Con*Natural’, is due to land in early 2025.
The eight-track record, set for release on January 17, features original material from MC Conrad which he worked on before his untimely death in April 2024.
Drum ‘n’ bass producer Makato shared news of the new album on Instagram earlier this week, explaining that he’d been working on the album alongside Resonance co-founder Imran Hussain.
“I still can’t believe what I have been working on the last few months with Conrad’s Resonance label partner Imran,” Makato explained.
“We have put together an MC Conrad album called ‘Con*Natural’ which includes exclusive tracks that he had selected to release before he sadly passed away.”
The record compiles eight tracks in total, all of which MC Conrad had “personally worked on” and was “very happy with”, selecting them for release before his passing.
The first single from the forthcoming album, ‘Promised Land ft. Aquariid’ (DJ Marky & Makoto remix)’, landed earlier today, December 13.
All proceeds from the record will go toward the MC Conrad Foundation, which aims to support young, independent artists through their careers in music. “Any level of support would be much appreciated,” Makato wrote.
