Residents in the nearby village reported a large amount of police activity in the area, per Wales Online, before officers confirmed that an illegal rave was underway.
On Sunday, a South Wales Police spokesperson said: "Officers are in attendance at Rhigos Mountain Road, Rhigos, Rhondda Cynon Taff following a report of an unlicensed rave."

Over on Facebook, locals called on police to "let them rave", with one person arguing: "The only disruption is the police stopping it!"
Another person said in response: "Who gives a toss. They’re not hurting anyone, hopefully take all their rubbish with them too."
