Pioneer DJ reveals new rekordbox controllers

Pioneer has unveiled two new additions to its range of DDJ controllers. The DDJ-RB and DDJ-RR are the first in the line that are designed to utilise the latest rekordbox 4.1.1 update.

New functions include PC Master Out which routes audio through the connected computer’s speakers and Sequence Call which enables the creation and saving of samples. The ability to load samples to the deck and scratch them is exclusive to the DDJ-RR.

The more upmarket DDJ-RR also has customisable multi-coloured Performance Pads, multiple inputs and outputs, a dual VU level meter and release FX among its additional features.

Each controller will be released towards the end of May as a bundle with rekordbox dj Plus Pack, with the DDJ-RB and DDJ-RR priced at €249 and €699 respectively.

Check out the more affordable DDJ-RB in action below and head to Pioneer DJ’s website for further details.
