Pete Burns of Dead Or Alive has passed away

The UK pop icon leaves a lasting legacy

The lead singer of British pop group Dead Or Alive, Pete Burns, has passed away at the age of 57.

Burns, who had previously been very public about ongoing health complications, died on Sunday after going into cardiac arrest.

The tragic news broke through a shocking Tweet posted on the pop star's page, on behalf of his loved ones. The piece cites the incidents and devastation of the crushing loss.

Dead Or Alive is best known for their 1985 hit 'You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)', arguably one of the most iconic dance tracks to date.
