Paul McCartney's revealed he is a big fan of Kanye West's 2010 release 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'.
In an interview with DIY Magazine, The Beatles frontman explained: "That was the record of his that I really envied. I thought, oh he’s done some good stuff".
He continued: "‘Watch The Throne’ with Jay-Z [too]. I like that. It’s not like I’m a big hip hop fan, but I went to see Kanye and Jay-Z and really came away thinking it was like urban poetry. I was very impressed. So when the word came that he wanted to work with me, I was flattered".
These comments come in the wake of his upcoming project release 'Egypt Station', where he explained his excitement at working with younger artists and producers.
Kanye and McCartney previously collaborated on tracks such as 'Only One' and 'FourFiveSeconds', where Rihanna also makes an appearance.
