Stateside talent Patrick Brian keeps things fluid across four tracks of far-ranging potential for Terrorhythm here.
The barbarous flow of opener 'Scaffold' is hard as nails, while the sinister, percussive rattles and mutated stabs on 'I Could See' punctuate a chugging, dub-inspired bass lean. Title-track '8 Months' wanders into edit territory, chopping up silky-smooth r'n'b melodies into skippy, rhythmic patterns, while final cut 'Summoning Sickness' takes the template further, resulting in a jittery, fractured outcome.
