Pasquale Rotella has announced that Insomniac will be cancelling EDC Puerto Rico and Beyond Wonderland, as well as postponing EDC Japan's originally scheduled July date.

The message comes through a letter shared by Rotella online. The company's founder has explained that his team has priorities in exploring new cities and building up their current events. He also assures that although these festivals have been cancelled, there are still more big announcements to come.

Furthermore, Insomniac will undergo a reformation that intends to highlight the art of the DJ by implementing longer set times and more intimate experiences in wider reaching locations. According to Rotella, the headquarters is making some major changes and teases at a new US camping festival in 2017.

Finally, he announced the forthcoming relaunch of Insomniac Records as yet another initiative to expect from Insomniac, coming later this year.
