Parklife festival has raised over £75,000 for charity this year. This is the Manchester festival’s biggest contribution yet and a vast improvement on the £30,000 they raised last year and equates to a 153% increase on last year.

Beneficiaries of this money include the Parklife Community Trust Fund which nurtures projects within the local neighbourhood. £44,141 will go towards this. The SuperJosh Brain Tumour CHarity, which festival director Sacha Lord is a patron for, raised an impressive £26,023 in donations from festival goers and bar staff. An additional £5,000 was raised through raffles and auctions of festival tickets donated by Parklife to various local organisations.

The festival will return to Heaton Park on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June 2018. Buy tickets via the Parklife website.
