Palace and Kickers are back for another summer collaboration

Palace has teamed up with traditional UK heritage brand Kickers to bring us their second collaboration in as many years, this time to unveil the modernised, summer-ready boat shoe in three vibrant colourways.

Dipping into their 90s archives, the two have injected life into the classic boat shoe silhouette that first found popularity during the mid-80s and early 90s alongside the rise of the infamous Manchester rave scene.

First established in 1970, Kickers’ rise within rave culture over a decade later put them on the map for the first time in a period when fashion was thriving. Fast-forward another decade and they’d soon become synonymous for their sturdy, black leather school shoes worn by masses across the UK.

Now for SS19, taking inspiration from their association with rave culture - as well as their reputation for being tough and long-lasting - they’ve administered an injection of colour into three adaptations of the classic boat shoe to create your ideal summer shoe.

Arriving in neon yellow, chalky orange and tonal black, each shoe comes with the typical Palace badge that can be found on each upper, as well as the branded tag hang-tag.

The collaboration is set to release on May 17th at 11:00 AM and will be available from the Palace website as well as in-store.
