Oxford English Dictionary adds 'twerk'

It's joined by 'fo' shizzle', 'photobomb' and 'sexting'

Diplo's favourite dance move has gone legit. 'Twerk' has officially been added to the Oxford English Dictionary.

Defined as dancing "in a sexually provocative manner, using thrusting movements of the bottom and hips while in a low, squatting stance", it's part of 500 new entries and comes after it was added to Oxford Dictionaries Online back in 2013.

Researches reckon it dates back to 1820, but the move hit prime time when Miley Cyrus treated the audience to the tame poppy version it at the MTV Awards two years ago.
