Oren Ambarchi's new album will feature Ricardo Villalobos
A top notch collaborator for November's 'Hubris'
The highly experimental Oren Ambarchi has announced a handful of collaborators for his upcoming 'Hubris' album.
Via the label Editions Mego, one of the featured artists on the piece will be Ricardo Villalobos. Also showcased on the album will be Jim O'Rourke, Mark Fell, Keith Fullerton Whitman and more.
The electronic allies lend synth and rhythmic contributions respective of their expertise to Ambarchi's 'Hubris'. Villalobos apparently provides "electronic rhythms" to the work while O'Rourke gives rich guitar components to the disco driven album.
Oren Ambarchi's 'Hubris' will be released on November 11 via Editions Mego and will act as a continuation of his previous albums 'Sagittarian Domain' and 'Quixotism'.
