NYC's Aussie community holds fundraiser against Sydney Lock Out Laws

The event directly follows Mike Baird's resignation from parliament

Lifestyle brand and association Salty Kooks will be hosting a fundraising party on February 17 in New York City, directly supporting the Keep Sydney Open initiative.

The group, which has deep roots within the city's Aussie expat community, brings the event following the resignation of Mike Baird from parliament, who was the government official leading the Sydney Lockout laws.

All proceeds from the nighttime affair will take place at Manhattan's Studio 151 with all proceeds going directly to the Keep Sydney Open foundation.
