Nite Jewel and Droop-E’s AMTHST ready to ‘Let It Go’
The hip hop two-piece is preparing for their EP, out next week
With their ‘Euphoria’ EP set to be released next week, the hip hop warping duo AMTHST has now shared ‘Let It Go’.
80s beat work guides the duo’s latest track as they bring in samples of Ciara-indebted vocals and sparkling synth lines. ‘Let It Go’ distorts the dynamics associated with the deceptively pop-inflected hip hop that inspired the project with each new element of the song, taking the listener deeper into psychedelic soundscapes and stuttered tempos.
‘Euphoria’ is set for release Feburary 17 through E-40's Sick Wid It Records, and ‘Let It Go’ is available for a listen below.
