I. JORDAN and Planningtorock share new single 'TNB'

I. JORDAN and Planningtorock's new collaborative single 'TNB' is out today on Ninja Tune.

The project is a double single "Day & Night" package. The Day version was created during a jam at I. JORDAN's Abbey Road x Pitchfork London sessions series, the culmination of long-held ambitions to work together following the two producers connecting online after the release of Jordan's breakout EP.

The track explores themes of identity and trans joy, whereas the Night version, made six months later, is the duo's high octane love letter to the club.

Planningtorock AKA Jam Rostron, a household name in electronic music after four critically acclaimed studio albums and remixes for Lada Gaga, Robyn and Christine and The Queens, has described the collaboration as a "magical coming together" which explores identity and provides a true celebration of trans joy.

'TNB' is another highlight in Doncaster-born producer I. JORDAN AKA Jordan Tek's soaring rise over the last few years, which have seen them embark on tours in Australia and Asia, curate a night at Glastonbury 2023 with SHERELLE and remix artists such as Romy and Eliza Rose.

The duo had important periods in their transitional journeys happen to one another during the creative process of 'TNB', and this notion of parallel moments in time colliding is reflected in Morgan Hislop's artwork.

The track was teased during I. JORDAN's set in the Lab LDN this month, watch it back here.

To celebrate the release, Jordan and Jam will play together at Corsica Studios on November 18.
