Yesterday evening Nike CEO Mark Parker announced some exciting news about a product innovation for 2016.

Although it’s not the Nike Air Mag, the brand has come a long way since Tinker Hatfield announced the idea back in 2013.

The shoe is said to be powered by an underfoot-lacing mechanism and when you step in, your heel will hit a sensor system, and the shoe will automatically tighten, offering precise, consistent, personalised lockdown.

The HyperAdapt 1.0 is set to be released in three different colourways later on this year.
