Nicolas Jaar sounds the ‘Sirens’ on his second album
With scratch card cover art
Experimental soundscapeist Nicolas Jaar has announced his second album ‘Sirens’ will be coming out next week.
The Chilean-American composer’s follow-up to 2011 debut album ‘Space Is Only Noise’ is a six-track album with cover art made of lottery paper, able to be scratched off with an American quarter that comes with record.
Since ending his band Darkside in 2014, Jaar has kept busy recording an alternative soundtrack for the film ‘The Colour of Pomegranates’, and completing his ‘Nymphs’ singles series.
