New Order have brewed their own beer
Stray Dog will be available this September
New Order have partnered with the Burnley-based Moorhouse’s Brewery to create and distribute their own beer.
The beverage is named Stray Dog, titled after the track from last year’s ‘Music Complete’ album, and is a premium 4.2% golden ale with “hints of citrus fruit and lychee, all balanced by a subtle bitterness.”
Speaking about the venture, New Order said: “It’s been a pleasure to work with Moorhouse’s of Burnley on our first foray into the brewing business. Even more so that they're celebrating their 150th anniversary, and have such a rich heritage in the North West.”
An autumn release date has been set for the beer, meaning it will arrive in time to help get you through January's Blue Monday.
