A new 1500-capacity nightclub, Nuits Fauves, is set to open in Paris this Friday (June 24), with Etienne de Crécy and Simian Mobile Disco at the decks.
Promoter La Rafinerie is helming the project, which runs through to October, and will be in charge of weekend bookings. Artist crews Yard, HAIKU and Jeudi Techno are in control of midweek slots.
Artists lined up to play so far include Juan Atkins, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Jimmy Edgar, Speedy J, Gerd Janson, Mala, Ben Sims, Dubfire, DJ Sneak, Gilles Peterson, Kavinsky, DJ Deep, Roman Poncet, Juju & Jordash and Mind Against.
The venue is housed in the Cité De La Mode Et Du Design building (pictured) on the Seine that already serves as host to nightspots such as Nüba and Wanderlust.
