New music venue, Amuse, opens next month in Coney Island
A summer nightlife spot for one of Brookyln's most famous destinations
Between Memorial Day and Labor Day of this year, Brooklyn's Coney Island will be getting its own 4000 capacity music destination called Amuse - a temporary summer venue set to open sometime next month.
Created by DEG Presents - the company behind Williamsburg nightclub Schimanski - the new venue will be a 20,000-square foot cube-tent structure that plans to act as a "flexible" and "immersive" space for various live music performances, private events and club nights. The temporary venue will be erected near the Coney Island Art Walls center.
Details on programming for Amuse isn't available yet, but you can check out a graphic rendering of what the proposed venue will look like below.
