Saidah announces debut EP
Saidah has revealed her debut EP ‘takeme2’ is dropping via 40MILES on May 28.
The London-born DJ, producer, broadcaster, and vocalist has accompanied the announcement by sharing the title-track as a new single.
"With this track I wanted to create something which echoed the nostalgia of the old school garage scene in a way that still felt relevant to the new energy that’s been injected into the genre,” says Saidah. “The strong female vocals paired with a darker, rougher bass and drums strikes that balance perfectly for me. It’s always a moment in my sets where the drop hits and the crowd are hooked- something bouncy with a hit of darkness at the same time.”
The EP also features recent single ‘skin2skin’, a collaboration with George Riley.
