Novelist to return to his roots with new album Audacity
Novelist has now released his fourth studio album Audacity, marking an exciting restoration of classic grime, handing a new generation the chance to “experience one of grime’s most iconic productions and Novelist at his best.”
Having been a key figure on the grime scene since 2015, Novelist has since expanded his sonic palette with experimental EPs and “immersive soundscapes that invite thoughtful engagement.”
Produced with Hot Sauce Records, Audacity marks Novelist’s first new album since 2023.

Larizzle announces new EP ‘Love Always Resides Around Here (L.A.R.A.H.)’
On his own record label Larah, Larizzle is set to launch his debut EP ‘Love Always Resides Around Here (L.A.R.A.H.)’.
Speaking on the release he says: “The project is in memory of my late daughter and exclusively features women, including Ella Eyre, Nqobilé, Meron T, and Rachel Foxx.”
His last three singles, ‘Little Things’, ‘The Love’, and ‘Big Motion’ gained attention from BBC Radio 1, Capital Xtra and RinseFM. ‘Love Always Resides Around Here (L.A.R.A.H.)’ is due to be released on October 3.

JayaHadADream’s shares new single ‘Bug’
Produced by New Machine, JayaHadADream’s new single ‘Bug’ has just landed.
With a breadth of new music on the horizon, JayaHadADream introduces a moody, conversational, lofi style that cuts through jazz and rap styles.
The British hip hop artist also has a mixtape due to be released on October 24 called ‘Happiness From Agony’ which showcases “a personal reflection on the emotional and social contradictions of rising success.”

Sassy 009 reveals details of debut album, ‘Dreamer+’
Oslo’s Sassy 009 has revealed details of her debut album, ‘Dreamer+’, set to land on January 16 via Heaven Sent / [PIAS].
The anticipated record will lean into breakbeat territory, promising to bring “notes of Air and Yves Tumor” inspired by grunge, shoegaze, ‘90s beatronica and hyperpop. The first single from the record, ‘Butterflies’, is out now.

Irish DJ, producer, and interdisciplinary artist SLOUCHO has returned with a brand new single on his OUCH™ imprint, ‘Rhinestones’.
Featuring Lil Skag and Ahmed, With Love, the long-awaited single was first debuted during his 2024 performance at AVA Festival, flaunting hectic synths and huge basslines.

Ship Sket lands on Planet Mu with debut album ‘InitiatriX’
Manchester-based DJ and producer Ship Sket is set to land on Planet Mu next month with his debut album ‘InitiatriX’, a 12-track journey through dubstep, grime, and drill.
“I like happy accidents, messing around and resampling, and kind of seeing how far I can push stuff before it disintegrates in front of me,” he says on the record. “I’ve heard my tunes on a club system and gone, ‘Wow that mix sounds bad, but the tune is still popping’. My approach is a lot more stylistic than it is technical.”

Manuka Honey announces new EP 'Road Rage'
DJ, producer and SUZIO founder Manuka Honey has shared details of her new EP, 'Road Rage', which is set to land via Black Acre on November 14.
Consisting of five tracks, the new EP will feature collaborations with Surinamese-Dutch musician De Schuurman and Egyptian producer ADABIR, with whom she has released the first single from the new record, 'Faramanch'.
"ABADIR and I created this track with a desire to express suspense, urgency, and the intensity of an attack through exploring halftime and double time tempos," she says. "‘Faramanch’ means ‘Machete’ in Arabic; tying it in as a conceptual expansion to my existing record, whilst also personifying its use sonically.

Jaguar releases debut EP 'flowers' on her UTOPIA imprint
DJ, producer and BBC Radio 1 presenter Jaguar has just released her debut EP 'flowers', including its glittering title track, created in collaboration with Jacana People and vocalist Aurelia Ray.
‘’flowers is about reconnecting with your inner child and finding resilience after hardship," says Jaguar. "After healing pains of the past, I can finally stride onwards, my younger self and future self, connected, stood side by side.
"‘flowers’ is a gift to myself, documenting deep personal growth and a creative journey that’s changed my life," she continues. The full four-track EP landed on Jaguar's UTOPIA imprint on Wednesday (September 17).

Jennifer Walton announces debut album 'Daughters'
Underground legend Jennifer Walton is gearing up to release her debut album 'Daughters', set to land via Local Action on October 24.
In the making since 2018, the record was written in the midst of a period of personal tragedy for Walton, as she struggled to come to terms with the loss of her father amidst success as a musician.
Featuring collaborations with aya, Daniel S. Evans, Joshua Barfoot, Nick Granata, Alex McKenzie, Aga Ujma and Bob Lockwood, 'Daughters' will see Walton take her first steps into the alternative pop.
