Anonymous concept label UNKNOWN - UNTITLED marks five years with new compilation
A new 12-track compilation of anonymised music is coming out via London’s UNKNOWN - UNTITLED label.
The concept label has released music by the likes of dBridge, Ciel, Hodge, French II, Atrice and LUXE since its launch in 2020, though information about the artists behind each release is kept secret initially, and eventually revealed at a later date.
“The anonymous model does something interesting for everyone involved,” says label founder Kane, who also uses the unknown - untitled moniker for his own music and sets. “An emerging producer can be heard purely on the strength of the music, while a more established artist has the freedom to try something stylistically different without any expectations attached to their name.”
'Uu015' is due for release in September, with the A-side of the double-disc vinyl release streaming now.

Mura Masa collaborates with Ledbyher on new single ‘Needja’
Mura Masa and Ledbyher have joined forces on new single 'Needja', out now via the former’s Pond Recordings outlet.
It sees the label head pushing a sound he’s calling "emo-breaks", with loose, melancholic melodies merging with tightly wound drums below Ledbyher’s hazy rap bars.
"Working together was like buttering bread really, a good thing made easy. We spend most of our time listening to and discussing rock artists or Sneaker Pimps and The Sundays. That comes after we go to the cafe of course,” says Ledbyher. “Our brains are like wildfire when we're together and making stuff, just two people from the sticks having fun. Also his cat, Chaplin, helps too and needs an honourable mention.”

INTERVENTION marks 10 years with V/A compilation
INTERVENTION is marking 10 years of operation, including workshops and radio takeovers, with an anniversary compilation.
‘10 Years of INTERVENTION (Part 1)’ drops on August 7, and features contributions from Porter Brook, metadramatik, Ay-Dien & Gwen Reed, Susannah Stark & Band, Coby Sey, Yamaneko, Amazinggaijin, Ku-Ro, O$VMV$M, No Home, Wooly Aziz & Rabisco Paraná, Zoee and LINT across its 13 tracks. Details of Part 2 are yet to be announced.
All funds from compilation sales will be split between The Sameer Project, providing mutual aid support to people in Gaza, and Black Minds Matter, who offer free mental health support to the Black community in the UK.
“When I started INTERVENTION 10 years ago, I never dreamed it would take me to the places I’ve been fortunate to visit. From being on panels in Tartu, Estonia, hosting workshops with Refuge Worldwide in Berlin, connecting with my heroes from New York, different parts of Latin America, and Taiwan, it’s been a wild ride,” says founder Yewande Adeniran. “I dedicated my late teens and entire 20s to addressing the very obvious disparities within dance music, in and out of the club. Throughout the years, we’ve had thousands of people pass through our workshops, spoken and played tracks on BBC radio, and even worked with local councils and the Mayor of London to shine a spotlight on my favourite disabled DJs and shift the narrative surrounding accessibility.
“This compilation encompasses that all. All the beautiful and inspiring people I’ve met over the last decade, whose music, writings, art and commitment to making sure we’re all involved, or improving things in their local scene, have kept me going. It’s a celebration of all that is good around us. Despite these dark times, there is light, and there always has been.”

Marsolo’s first release of 2026 is out now
Marsolo has shared a new three-track EP ‘Run’ via TSZR.
The title-track is a collaboration with vocalist O.MMY AKA jus lil.
“‘Run’ is a very special track to me because it pushed me outside of my comfort zone creatively,” says the Dutch DJ and producer. “I originally finished the instrumental one day before my Creamfields set in August 2025, and instantly knew it was something special because it felt so naturally ‘me’.”
“‘Run’ also represents a deeper side of my sound. Together with ‘Oscillation’ and ‘Inside My Mind’, it shared the same deep and emotional energy, which is why I decided to combine them into one EP showcasing that side of me as an artist.”
