Danny Brown teases new album ‘Stardust’
Experimental rap artist Danny Brown returns with his seventh studio album ‘Stardust’ this November on Warp Records.
The first single ‘Starburst’ is out now, offering a glimpse into an album driven by Danny Brown’s signature style: hypnotic layered samples, intricate beats, and lyrical sharpness.
This follows his 2023 collaborative album ‘SCARING THE HOES’ with JPEGMAFIA, which earned widespread critical praise, solidifying his status as one of rap’s “most fearless innovators.”

CRRDR returns with ‘LATINCORE LEGEND’
Colombian electronic music producer CRRDR is set to release his next album, ‘LATINCORE LEGEND’, on October 17.
Named one of Mixmag’s breakthrough artists, CRRDR has become a genre pioneer in the Latin experimental club movement, fusing tribal latin sounds with cutting-edge electronic music.
His new album creates a “fearless reimagining of Latin America’s musical landscapes,” and includes features with Ervin River, MISS BASHFUL, DJ Guari and more.

Drexciya’s ‘Fusion Flats’ reissued on digital platforms:
Tresor Records has announced the first-ever digital reissue of Drexciya’s ‘Fusion Flats', including remixes from fellow Detroit legends such as Octave One, Kaotic Spatial Rhythms and 043 Chaos.
The reissue includes the original extended version of ‘Fusion Flats’ and features artwork by long-term creative collaborator Matthew Angelo Harrison. This release marks its very first appearance on digital platforms after originally being released in 1999.

DJ Q shares new single ‘Let You Go’ featuring Jack Junior
DJ Q has returned with a new single, 'Let You go' featuring West Yorkshire-hailing musician Jack Junior on Local Action Records.
The new single is the first to be shared from an upcoming "bassline" album from the legendary UKG producer, which will follow on the acclaimed 'Est. 2003' album that featured hits such as 'Thief in the Night', 'I Can't Stay' and 'All That I Could'.

Asa Tate, AKA Tech Support, announces debut on Rhythm Section
DJ and Producer Asa Tate, AKA Tech Support, is set to make his debut on Bradley Zero's Rhythm Section imprint with forthcoming EP ‘Replica’ on October 10.
The four-track EP adds an experimental edge to Asa Tate's house sonics whilst keeping groove front and centre, making for a listening experience that is just as diverse as it is accessible.

Eris Drew to helm next instalment of DJ-Kicks
DJ, producer and label head Eris Drew will he at the helm of the next edition of K7! Records' legendary DJ-Kicks mix series, which is set to land on November 14.
Within the tracklist, which features a range of tracks, remixes and exclusives, are releases from Moby, Calisto, Toka Project, Onionz — as well as Eris Drew and her partner and T4T LUV NRG co-founder, Octo Octa.
“I recorded it in my cabin with the violent world rolling around me. Being in my refuge in the forest was important; the mix needed to carry the feeling of that place and the inspiration I draw from it," says Eris Drew. “I wanted the mix to feel like climbing a mountain - to produce an ecstatic sensation of overcoming.”

Danny L Harle shares new single 'Azimuth' featuring Caroline Polachek
Danny L Harle has teamed up with Caroline Polachek on his new single, 'Azimuth', which has just landed on XL Recordings.
Combining pounding, all-out trance synths with Polachek's ethreal vocals, 'Azimuth' follows up from the success of Harle and Polachek's previous outings, Polachek's 2019 single 'Pang' and her 2023 album 'Desire I want to run to you'
“‘Azimuth’’s melody could only have been sung by Caroline, it is designed around her voice, I couldn’t imagine
anyone else singing it or giving a performance like that," says Harle.
"It also allowed us to play with scale, space and quietness in a way I’ve never done before. For me, “Azimuth” is a trance ballad, despairing but hopeful, best heard in a in club in a sunken cathedral."

UK-based DJ and producer bullet tooth has just debuted a brand new single on Positiva Records, 'A Place You Wanna Go (Good Life)'.
Reworking Inner City's iconic 'A Good Life', the track bends and twists Paris Grey's vocals through fizzling tech-house bass and fizzling hats.
“When I made this back in June I didn’t really think it would be anything more than just an edit I can play in my sets," says bullet tooth. "So I’m buzzing that we’ve managed to clear such a classic and iconic sample and it’s now getting an official release.”

Infinite Coles sends for his estranged dad Ghostface Killah on debut album ‘SweetFace Killah’
Infinite Coles has announced his debut album ‘SweetFace Killah’ is coming out via Don’t Sleep/PIAS on December 5.
The NYC rapper preceded the impeninding LP with a double-sided single featuring the title-track and ‘Dad & I’, each exploring the emotions around his queer identity and relationship with estranged father and Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah.
Sample lyrics include “Dad and I don’t see eye to eye. I love you but I think that you be carrying… You tell me to man up yeah, When I put on makeup yeah… Nobody’s perfect no. Can’t you see that I’m worth it” and “How you in a Mack truck, but forget you a father..Is it me? Am I not your cup of tea. Are my pants not low, like your self esteem. Do I need to f*ck a b*tch, Just so you could see?”.
The 12-track album is produced by Zach Witness, blending influence from ballroom culture, R&B, hip hop, house and more across its dynamic runtime.

Works Of Intent and Gray collab on ‘Gotta Get That Money’
Works Of Intent and Gray have joined forces on a new two-tracker paying homage to “the NYC Hustle.”
The early-'90s-inspired release comprises two versions of the title-track — ‘Gotta Get That Money’ (Classic Mix) and ‘Gotta Get That Money’ (Big Money Mix) — with Works Of Intent taking charge of the production and Gray serving up an irresistible vocal telling a fun tale of big city aspirations. The ‘Classic Mix’ leans into sleazy atmospherics reminsicent of that era, while the ‘Big Money Mix’ pushes up to bigger, roomier textures.
Works Of Intent has also announced a headline show at South London club GAFFE for the first event from his Emotional Weaponry label, with tickets on sale now.

Introspekt returns to Tempa with four-track EP ‘Unearthed Technology’
Following the release of her debut album and one of the standout records of the year, former Mixmag cover star Inttrospekt is back on Tempa with a new four-track EP, which drops on vinyl and digital formats on October 24.
‘Prototype III’ is streaming now, packing sharp percussion, murky wobs and sampled spinbacks.

BombayMami teams up with NAINA on ‘Fire in Delhi’ remix
Following the release of her viral hit ‘Fire in Delhi’ earlier this year, BombayMami has enlisted NAINA to take on remix duties with her own powerful, techno-leaning spin.
It comes as part of a new two-track remix EP, alongside another reworked edit from GNDHI, who channels big room house into the track.
“I absolutely love BombayMami’s music, the way she incorporates South Asian instrumentation into her unique style works with her array of different vocals within the song and incorporating those original elements like the tabla, sitar & strings into a club track,” NAINA says. “I knew I wanted to take it in a techno / percussive direction and chop up the vocals but still keep it really fun and bouncy"

Paperkraft to land on Sally C’s Big Saldo’s Chunkers with four-track EP
Osaka-hailing DJ and producer Paperkraft is set to land on Sally C’s Big Saldo’s Chunkers later this month with a new four-track EP, ‘Something Nasty’, digging into old-skool breaks.
“Having a record come out on Chunkers has always been one of the biggest goals in my career. It still feels like a dream that this EP will be released and shared with the world,” he says. “I hope everyone enjoys these four tracks packed with energy and old-school power!”

Josh Baker teams up with Egyptian Lover & Rome Fortune on ‘Dr Feel Right’
Rising tech house star Josh Baker has teamed up with hip hop legend Egyptian Lover and Philadelphia rapper Rome Fortune on a brand new single via his Bakers Dozen imprint, ‘Dr Feel Right’.
The anticipated new track landed last week (September 26), after being debuted at festivals all over the world throughout summer, including Josh Baker’s Creamfields headline set.
