Shy One signs to Touching Bass and releases new single ‘Nort Wess’

Shy One has signed to beloved South London label Touching Bass, run by Errol and Alex Rita, and marked the occasion with a new single ‘Nort Wess’.

"I first met Errol in 2016 at an Eglo boat party at Dimensions Festival. There was a musical alignment between us and I would often play at the early Touching Bass nights. We’ve talked about releasing music together a few times since then so I’m really happy we’re actually managing to make it happen,” says Shy One, real name Mali Larrington-Nelson.

“Since my last release, I’ve felt compelled to slow down and declutter (both mentally and sonically), making an effort to have more trust in my intuition and step into a sound that feels more like me. ‘Nort Wess’ is one of the many results of this process."
