"It gave me a true sense of freedom, allowing me to not think about boundaries or expectations. I’ve never been more proud of a project than this one," he continues. It arrives alongside an animated video directed by Léa Esmaili, who says: "First of all, making this music video is a huge honor, as I grew up with these two artists and have admired their universe since I was a teenager. I wanted to create, within a single video, a fun animated moment by mixing styles either it’s 2D animation or 3D. Beyond that, I wanted to build a burlesque narrative around two friends who spend a completely crazy day together, tied to their friendship and to anime of this kind."

HEADS KNOW releases V/A compilation ‘US CLUB’
New York’s HEADS KNOW has released a 27-track compilation titled ‘US CLUB’, featuring a wealth of talent from the US experimenting with sounds rooted in East Coast and Midwest styles.
Among them is Traxman, DJ Clent, DJ Thadz, DJ Technics, nextdimensional and Honey B.
“Inspired by a tweet by Bok Bok that accidentally coined “US Club” — sparking rightful outrage from artists and veteran members of the club community — HEADS KNOW wanted to use this project as a chance to not only educate others about club music’s true origins, but also as a chance to bring together producers from cities all over the states who’ve been helping keep club music alive today,” explains Heads Known founder, curator and Mixmag contributor Arielle Lana LeJarde.
“There’s no doubt that club music was created in Baltimore, taking direct inspiration from Ghetto House in Chicago. It spread to producers in places like Newark and Philadelphia, who added their own styles to the genre’s distinctive bounce. Now, the meaning of “club music” has morphed into almost any dancefloor-minded track made anywhere in the world. But US CLUB is an attempt to reclaim the roots of the genre while also showcasing its interpretations from various American cities.”
Part of the proceeds will go towards the recently launched HEADS KNOW fund, which offers financial support to those in the dance music industry who need it, by distributing grants on an “as-needed basis”.
