JIALING lands on Sorry Records with new four-track release, ‘WUPS!’
After being named one of Mixmag’s Producers Who Defined 2024, JIALING is back with a brand new EP on Sorry Records, this time spanning Baltimore club, Latin hard house, breaks, and more.
‘WUPS!’ is set for release on August 8, and is said to pull influence from “40 years of dance music history”, nodding to the early days of The Loft, Paradise Garage, and The Warehouse.

ENNY returns with first solo release in over two years, ‘Cabin Feva’
ENNY has returned with her first solo release in more than two years following 2023’s ‘We Go Again’ EP, dropping a brand new single on FAMM titled ‘Cabin Feva’.
“I feel like ‘Cabin Feva’ found me at the interesting point,” she says. “Moo Latte sent through this piece that he made specifically for me, and it all aligned. When you stop releasing music for a bit, it feels dramatic, like it could all go away.”

Burial drops new double-tracker, ‘Comadields / Imaginary Festival’
Burial has dropped a surprise new double-tracker on Hyperdub, ‘Comadields / Imaginary Festival’, his first release in over a year following a joint single released alongside Kode9 last year, ‘Phoneglow / Eyes Go Blank’.
Each track comes in at over 10 minutes long, and see Burial return to his familiar ambient sound, interlaced with field recordings.

Wayward are back with their first full release in four years, ‘Lament’
London duo Wayward are back with their first full release since 2021’s ‘Waiting For The World’, returning with a brand new four-track EP on Silver Bear Recordings, ‘Lament’.
‘Lament’ builds around choppy vocal hooks, hard breaks, and atmospheric melodies across each of its four tracks. “A two self-proclaimed pessimists, writing music helps us process heavy feelings in a way that feels more hopeful,” they say. “This EP is about that turning point, where you can either dwell, or move forward with curiosity.”

Ma Sha releases new EP ‘Hydrofall’ via Steel City Dance Discs
Ma Sha has released a new four-track EP titled ‘Hydrofall’ via Steel City Dance Discs.
Created from live experimentation, it’s a dynamic outing that feels inventive and ubstalbe, firing through rhythms that range from pacey to jittery, alongside throbbing bass.

Charlie Sparks drops surprise techno-rap track ‘Back From The Baker’
Charlie Sparks, best known for his industrial techno and hard-edged DJ sets, has released his first rap track.
The cut carries some of the signature Charlie Sparks sound in the production, with throbbing kicks and hectic bass distortion, with the UK artist delivering a rap flow above.
“I really wanted to create a new sound, style and energy for you all that really makes you feel it in the heart from the driving bass to the running synths,” he says.” I just want you to feel the energy i have been feeling these past 3 years with you and how you have all shaped my sound.”
DJ Tennis and Eliza Rose join forces on ‘Playa Paradiso’ single
DJ Tennis has linked up with Eliza Rose for a new single on his Life and Death label.
The track sets off of at a seductive tempo and builds into a groovy, hands-in-the-air anthem fuelled by sweetly sung vocals and playful production.

Sammy Virji drops another single ahead of new album
Sammy Virji has joined forces with Champion and IRAH for a weighty new single, ‘Dis Badman’.
It packs trademark Champion bass power and IRAH’s distinctive deep vocals alongside Virji’s irresistible sense of momentum.
The track is taken from his upcoming album ‘Same Day Cleaning’ which lands on September 19 via Capitol Records.

Knucks tackles cross-continental identity with new single 'Cut Knuckles'
UK-based rapper Knucks has shared a brand new single 'Cut Knuckles', the first from his forthcoming album 'A Fine African Man' — set for release "in less than six month's time" via his label NoDaysOff.
While details around the new record remain under wraps, 'Cut Knuckles' sees the musician explore his Nigerian heritage. “‘Cut Knuckles’ is the song that inspired the overall theme of the album," he says.
"It’s mostly about reflection, specifically about how I used to cut my hands washing my school clothes in Nigeria," Knucks continues. "It’s also acknowledging how far I’ve come and how, now I have my own place with a washing machine, the cuts and pains I would get are a thing of the past.”
'Cut Knuckles' has been released alongside a music video, filmed around Lagos, Nigeria and directed by Knucks, LKY and Director K. Check it out below.

Juicy Romance shares hedonistic new single 'Bikini'
Australia-born, UK-based DJ and producer Juicy Romance has shared a brand her single 'Bikini', marking her debut on HARD Recs.
Inspired by "early 2000s beach club ecstasy", the new track features bouyant basslines, slamming four-to-the-floor and a seductive vocal provided by the producer herself.

Tapioca Recordings announce Palestine fundraising compilation, 'Tapiocutz Without Borders'
Nathan Alzon’s imprint Tapioca Recordings is continuing its 'Tapiocutz Without Borders' series, with 100% of the profits going to help humanitarian aid and to relief efforts in Gaza.
Created in collaboration with Netherlands' wing of Doctors Without Borders, the series so far features tracks from Alzon, Mateo Dufour, Pelle and Alex Ranerro.

Girls Don't Sync order us to 'Come Get Dis' with vibrant new single
Liverpool electronic quartet Girls Don't Sync, AKA Gaia, Hannah, Sophia, and Matty, have shared brand new single 'Come Get Dis' — which landed on Fourmation/Positiva on Friday (August 1)
The vibrant house heater, which has been a staple of the four's festival sets this summer, was created using their own hooks and vocals — with Matty on the mic.
"Although we initially made it for the club, it’s been amazing to see it become a set staple throughout festival season, and the crowd's reaction to the track reflects our exact thoughts when we wrote this - we can’t wait to get this one out!” thet say.
