My Nu Leng have announced ‘Portal’, an EP exploring the drum ‘n’ bass sound. The release marks a new direction for the Bristol duo who made a name for themselves as purveyors of UK bass.

The four-track EP is set for release on Shogun Audio, the UK label home to Friction, Rockwell, Icicle and Technimatic. On the EP My Nu Leng hook up with drum ‘n’ bass legends Friction and Spectrasoul as well as vocalist Iyamah. The duo first came into contact with Friction when they remixed his track ‘Long Gone Memory’ in 2013 and have been drum 'n' bass fans since their teenage years.

They say: “We are both so excited to be releasing an EP on Shogun. We’ve been huge fans for many years and have bought and collected most of their back catalogue on vinyl.

‘Portal’ is out on September 1. Pre-order it via Shogun Audio’s website and listen to a teaser below.
