Listen to Mr. Oizo's new EP on Ed Banger, 'Rythme Plat'
French electro at its finest
20 years after the deliverance of his iconic and fluctuant 'Flat Beat' tune, French DJ-producer Mr. Oizo has dropped a new four-track EP titled 'Rythme Plat' via his longtime home imprint, Ed Banger Records.
The new record comes a few months after the resurrection of Handbraekes - Oizo and Boys Noize's electro collaboration - and the release of the duo's '#3' EP back in November of 2018.
Mr. Oizo's 'Rythme Plat' EP is the artist's first solo release since the execution of his 2016 LP, 'All Wet', which features collaborations with the likes of Peaches, Skrillex, Charli XCX, Siriusmo and more. The Frenchman's brand new and dense four-tracker is a brilliant exercise in edgy dancefloor production that cuts the rug with epic electro flavors from the 2000s.
