Mount Kimbie share unreleased James Blake collaboration
The 2009 production is a throwback to their dubstep origins
Mount Kimbie kicked off their September NTS residency this week, inviting James Blake along for a guest mix.
During the two hour show the duo unveiled an unreleased collaboration with Blake dating from 2009.
The track is a throwback to the producers' dubstep origins, characterised by the bass wobbles and vocoder synthesized vocals that featured heavily in their initial releases.
Mount Kimbie's residency continues every Tuesday from 2-4pm on NTS, with future guest spots coming from Micachu, King Krule, Connan Mockasin, James Holden, Midland and William Basinki.
