Leading up to its US debut in San Francisco on May 3 - 6, the global music and technology event MUTEK has rounded-off its festival line-up with a handful of rare and exciting acts.

The innovative and seldom seen techno stalwart Moritz Von Oswald will be making his North American solo live premiere at MUTEK this year. Other techno pioneers such as Aux 88 and Matias Aguayo will also be sharing live performances, with further support from visionary local artists such as 8ULENTINA, Christopher Willits, DIBIA$E, King Most and more.

Previously announced artists include Lee Gamble, Braille & Chelley Sherman, Russell E.L. Butler, Francesco Tristano feat. Derrick May, Kyoka, Tim Hecker, Orphx, Telefon Tel Aviv, Perera Elsewhere, Convextion as well as other established artists, experimental acts and unique collaborations.

Since its debut in 2000, MUTEK’s reputation for fostering and elevating live contemporary electronic music has spread like wildfire. With annual festivals now established in Mexico City, Tokyo, Dubai, Buenos Aires and its hometown of Montreal, MUTEK’s global expansion shows no signs of slowing down.

The festival is set to go down in 10 locations scattered throughout the city - including Bimbo’s, The California Academy of Sciences, Mezzanine, Heron Arts and more. Learn more here.
