Moogfest celebrates diversity in dance music
Following the announcement that Moogfest will be hosting 50 female, trans and non-binary artists for a 50-hour live stream, the North Carolina music festival has announced the lineup of its 2018 edition.
All the talent included in this first wave announcement is led by female, trans and non binary artists such as Honey Dijon, Aurora Halal, Fatima Al Quadiri, Sophie, Umfang, Jenny Hval, Ellen Allien and many more. The lineup, which celebrates the true diversity of dance music, also includes keynote speaker Chelsea Manning who will give a speech about the future of creativity. Moogfest will take place in Durham, North Carolina between May 17 - 20.
