Mixmag heads to Nigeria to launch The Lab Lagos

We’re making our Lab debut in Lagos this Saturday, August 10, with performances from Momoda, Icey, Sons of Ubuntu, Dèjì, and Weareallchemicals. Grab your tickets here.

The Lab Lagos takes place at Element House, Lagos’ home for “premiere dance music” from the team behind Spektrum Entertainment, bringing together Nigeria’s top talent.

We’re showcasing five stars across the Afro house and deep house continuum, including headliners Momoda and Icey, who bring their eclectic styles of house direct to the dancefloor this weekend.

Lebanon-born, Barcelona-based DJ Momoda takes the reins on the night with his soulful blends of Afro house and techno after a globe-trotting summer playing to crowds across the world.

Lagos’ own Icey follows shortly after following his recent Defected Records debut, returning to Element House where he holds down a residency as a long-returning favourite.

The Lab Lagos also welcomes sets from fan favourite DJ Sons of Ubuntu, trailblazing Afro house star Dèjì, and DJ-turned-skateboarder and model Weareallchemicals.

The event is set to go ahead at Element House, Lagos' famed dance music institution from a team of “passionate individuals who have collectively contributed” to Lagos’ music scene over the past 9 years.

Mixmag will livestream headline sets from Momoda and Icey this weekend. Grab your tickets here, and check out the poster below.
