Mixmag Live with Steve Aoki

For our seventh Mixmag Live show, we welcome one of the most exciting DJs on the planet, Steve Aoki.

With a background in California's hardcore punk scene, Steve Aoki is one of the most raucous showmen in dance music. His frenetic electro sets are as renowned for his sheer energy behind the decks (and occasionally in the crowd) as his on point mixing.

As a producer, Aoki was responsible for such club smashes as 'Brrrat!' (with Armand van Helden) and 'I'm In The House'. A resident at clubs like XS and Surrender in Las Vegas and Borgata in Atlantic City, with gigs all over the world as well as a regular headliner of the biggest dance festivals and the man behind Dim Mak records, one of the most important labels in the US with releases from acts like Bloody Beetroots, Atari Teenage Riot, Felix Cartal and MSTRKRFT, Aoki is electro royalty.

Those attending Mixmag Live with Steve Aoki will also receive a copy of the September issue of Mixmag. It will be quite a collector's piece, as not only will Steve star on the cover and mix the iconic cover CD – he'll also also be guest-editing ten pages in the magazine.
