Mixmag and Rekorderlig present Sunset Sessions with Jerry Folk
The burgeoning Norwegian native takes us on a sunset spin
Mixmag have teamed up with esteemed Swedish hard cider brand Rekorderlig to bring a series of Sunset Sessions to rooftops and venues across Los Angeles. Oslo native Jerry Folk takes control of the second session in the series on October 27 at yet another idyllic rooftop, this time at the Hotel Erwin in Venice.
Wunderkind Jerry Folk is a Norwegian implant in the city of Los Angeles who has gathered a passionate following through his consistent, groove-laden nu-disco sounds. First bursting onto the scene with a cherished rework of 'Suga Suga', his ability to take classics and reform them into fresh and sultry electronic tracks has continuously pushed him forward as a talent on-the-rise. His latest mixtape release called 'Purple Evenings' is a comforting combination of lusty, moody sounds that showcase Folk's velvety sound.
Co-founder of event series and label Understated and Los Angeles resident Monsieur Frazier will be handling opening duties for this Sunset Session. Find more info here.
