Miss Monique in the Mixmag Lab Kyiv
Returning to her native Kyiv, Miss Monique played the first-ever Mixmag Lab in Ukraine
On June 18, EDM superstar Miss Monique made an emotional return to Ukraine to play the first-ever Mixmag Lab Kyiv at the Kureni art space.
Filmed in partnership with Mixmag Ukraine, the first broadcast from Ukrainian territory also featured Kyiv-based DJ and producer Smailov, Artaria, and Mr Sunny, an affiliate of Monique's Siona Records.
The last few years have been huge for Miss Monique; with releases on Armada Music and Drumcode, official remixes for Madonna and Lufthaus (Robbie Williams' club project) and collaboration with Moby all under her production belt. While behind the decks, she's taken over the main stage of Tomorrowland, EDC Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Sziget, and Coachella — even making her BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix debut last year.
This summer looks set to follow the same suit, as the clubland sensation undertakes a residency at Hï Ibiza, alongside a special guest slot at [UNVRS] for Carl Cox's Sunday residency on the White Isle. Elsewhere, she'll be making her debut at the Creamfields North and South this Summer, on the Fatboy Slim stage.
Catch the stream below, and stay tuned to Mixmag and Mixmag Ukraine for upcoming streams.
