The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly live stream, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous office party.

This week we welcome the house music legend Mike Dunn. Hailing from Englewood, Chicago he's a man that epitomises the notorious sound of the Windy City.

Back in the day his residency at the 2nd Warehouse, owned by Joey Smooth, led to regular shows with the likes of Larry Heard and Ron Hardy, who tipped him as the next major talent to fly the flag for Chicago. He didn't disappoint, releasing killer dancefloor material such as 'God Made Me Phunky' and 'Phreaky MF' as well as plenty of other quality cuts under aliases including MDII, MD Connection and QX-1.

This week's Lab kicks off at 5pm GMT and you can tune in below or on MixmagTV.

This year Mike drops a brand new LP on moreaboutmusic and has a forthcoming release on Clone. After The Lab you can also check out his set at London's Dance Tunnel, tickets found here

The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs. Giving up and coming talent a platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together. Check out more from the Sound Collective here
