Mickey Pearce introduces himself as 'Michael' on debut album
Swamp81 releases the LP in June
'Michael' is the debut album from Mickey Pearce.
Pearce has been a longtime affiliate of Loefah's Swamp81 and it's on the label he releases his first LP in June.
The producer, real name Richard Attley, spoke to Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC 6 Music, saying: "The whole album was written in a short space of time last summer. It just sounds like me in August 2015. I haven’t written anything that sounds like it before or since."
He had a quiet period after releasing 'Numb Nut (Soft Brain'/'Socks Off' on Swamp in 2012, but returned in 2014 with the 'Instructions' EP on Swamp's sub-label, 81.
