Another tech pugilist set for a huge 2016, Mefjus returns to Neosignal with a waspish, hyperactive skittler that missiles along relentlessly, Tasering everything in its path. Booming, scudding snares and a sparking, fizzing core of bassy tendrils snake ferociously across the sound-scape, joined by a changing cast of melodic synth itches and spidery riffings – and the effect is hypnotic and pulverising at the same time.
