McDonald's has entered the production game
Because who needs a studio?
Forget about staring at your iPhone when you sit down to eat your McDonald's. The fast food restaurant has made it possible to make beats in between taking chomps on your Cheeseburger and fries and slurping your milkshake.
Created by Dutch company TBWA\Neboko and developed by This Page Amsterdam, McTrax, possibly the best placemat a restaurant's ever had, gives you access to in-house loops, synths, a series of effects and allows you to record your own voice if you fancy adding some vocals to your tunes.
Your iPhone will be needed in order to use it, as the screen and speakers are used via a Bluetooth connection.
Apparently the paper the placemat is made out if is what makes it so "innovative", with McDonald's Netherlands saying "fun" and "great moments" is exactly what you should expect when entering the Golden Arches.
Best get started on those remixes of Justin Timberlake's 'I'm Lovin' It', then...
