Max Graef to release EP on Funkineven’s Apron
The rawest you've heard him, the label claims
Max Graef is teaming up with Funkineven’s Apron for one of his heaviest releases to date.
Normally one for low-swung breaks and hip hop samples, Graef's new EP is the “rawest you’ll ever hear” him, according to the label, and the first track on SoundCloud certainly backs that up with a driving broken beat and eerie chords.
The EP will be Apron’s 27th release, building on the momentum it's gathered this year following Funkineven’s debut album as Steven Julien and EPs from Adam Feingold and Bastien Carrara.
It’s been a busy 2016 for Graef with the release of the 'Yardwork Simulator' album with Glenn Astro on Ninja Tune and the debut of his live band shows.
