Do you remember when we told you about the Unknown Festival promoter buying Obonjan island off the coast of Croatia? Well, a selection of DJs playing there this summer have been announced.

Matthew Herbert, Talaboman (the collaborative project of Axel Boman and John Talabot) and DJ Shadow are all on the decks, with more music coming from Roy Ayers, Lindstrøm, Saul Williams, American band Poliça and hip hop crew Dilated Peoples.

The DJs will be playing poolside, according to the brochure, with an amphitheatre playing host to headline performers.

Elsewhere on the 1.5 kilometre island, uninhabited until 1972, there will be workshops, talks, food from head chef Sam Letteri, outdoor cinema screenings, underwater experiences and a whole host of relaxation activities including massages, yoga, hot tubs and saunas.

The brochure reads: "Obonjan is a destination committed to developing its ethos as a responsible, 21st Century forward-thinking integrated business to attract its guests.

"We will invest to enhance the biodiversity of both terrestrial and marine life while enriching the landscape. Obonjan is already planning sound ecological, social and business management practices. This will develop an efficient and low impact circular economy managed with beauty and care."

Obonjan, pronounced 'O-bon-yan', will be open from July 18 until mid-September.
