New York based creative agency and promoter Matte Projects has just announced the return of Full Moon Festival for summer 2017.

The day-long event will take place on Governor's Island on July 8 with two stages featuring a range of hip-hop, rock, electronic, funk and more.

The line-up includes Vic Mensa, Kelela, Jeremy Underground, DJ Harvey, Axel Boman and more. This year's standout announcement comes with the return of Larry Heard, also known as Mr. Fingers, who will be performing in New York City for the first time in seven years.

Matte Projects, who recently brought Tale Of Us and Midland to its exclusive Matte Black party earlier this year, is well known for its art-driven presentations and unique, eclectic crowds. For this year's Full Moon, the brand has teamed up with illustrator John Elisle and photographer Andrew Beardsworth.
