Heading across the water from Paris this week is Danish-Filipino DJ and producer Manda Moor, a rising artist dealing in the finest tech and groove inspired productions. Influenced by the sounds of ‘80s and ‘90s Chicago, Manda Moor’s house and techno cuts have made their way onto labels such as Tamango, Under No Illusion and Voyeur with plays from dance music heavyweights all over the globe, not to mention her first release on Kaluki hitting number one on Beatport. Manda's debut Lab appearance falls on the same day as the release of her next EP, 'The Climax', a three-tracker landing on Hot Creations on May 20. "This release is the fruit of inspirations from the pure energy of Burning Man, a tribal reconnection to our primitive selves, spices from the 90s era, warm and trippy rhythms. It's all about love, unity, releasing good vibrations and embracing our weirdness," she said on the forthcoming record.
Manda's summer is filled with the most exciting shows, including her Paradise residency and Elrow at Amnesia Ibiza, The Martinez Brothers at Hï, Creamfields and Cercle to name a few. You can also catch her Saturday, May 21, at 93 Feet East in London.
Manda Moor also doubles up as a label boss having launched MOOD EDITS in 2021, an imprint curated alongside French house musician Sirus Hood. With support from electronic titans including The Martinez Brothers, Pete Tong and Loco Dice, MOOD EDITS has seen a perpetual rise climbing to the top of Billboard’s House, Deep House, and Minimal charts time and time again. Don’t miss out on this one - catch Manda Moor in the Lab this week and sign up for guestlist here.
