Premiere: BNR's techno prodigy Madame returns

One of techno's leading up-and-comers Madame brings Mixmag the premiere of the title track off his third EP, 'Inspira'.

The French DJ/producer, also known as Louis Roche, gained traction last year with his breakout 'Per99' which came out on Boys Noize Records. The hit was a deafening electro production that put Roche on the map, making its way to the set lists of Gesaffelstein, Dave Clarke and even with Justice, who played the track out at the most recent Mixmag Live show.

His characteristically dark and unpredictable percussion has earned him the reputation of a techno prodigy in clubs across Europe. Although young and lighthearted, his sound is simultaneously deeply haunting and aggressive, merging wet and expansive melodies tightly packed with booming volumes.

'Inspira' seamlessly brings on Madame's signature style with an especially eerie introduction that quickly picks up a menacing drum line. With elements reminiscent of break-beat flavor, tying into anxious and ghostly build-ups, the original production is an evolution of his warehouse-shaking form.

The wunderkind has already collected a profound index of supporters for 'Inspira' including Marcel Dettmann, Louisahhh!, Riva Starr and Club Cheval. With his undeniable and exponential growth as a recognized techno producer, it's clear this work has marked Madame as one to watch.

Madame's 'Inspira' EP is out on Boys Noize Records October 7.
