M.E.S.H. heads to 'Piteous Gate' on debut album

It lands via PAN

M.E.S.H. will release his debut album via PAN on July 17.

While the Berlin-based artist's DJ sets contain bleeding edge club music, his production style veers dramatically away from the dancefloor and the press release for the LP promises "sliding tempos, cut and paste time signatures and indeterminate pacing." Nice.

It will span nine tracks and be the most definitive piece of work M.E.S.H. has released yet. What we've heard of the record is wild and expansive, containing all sorts of aural surprises (watch out for the American's trademark searing whiplash and rotating industrial blade sounds).

The album follows the 'Scythians' EP that the Berlin-based artist released through the label last year and which scored a whoppin' 10/10 in Mixmag.

'Epithet' is currently streaming over at Fader and is a neat taster of what 'Piteous Gate' will contain. Tracklist below.

01: Piteous Gate (02:25)

02: Optimate (04:46)

03: Thorium (05:35)

04: The Black Pill (02:43)

05: Kritikal & X (01:54)

06: Epithet (05:16)

07: Jester's Visage (00:56)

08: Methy Imbiß (03:08)

09: Azov Seepage (04:31)
