M.A.N.D.Y. in The Lab NYC

The Lab NYC is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs from the intimate space connected to our Brooklyn office. This Friday, Mixmag welcomes Berlin duo M.A.N.D.Y. to The Lab NYC.

M.A.N.D.Y., the pair of Philip Jung and Patrick Bodmer, are known for their bumping house and techno sound and elusive collective personas. The two are childhood friends whose musical development ran parallel for most of their adolescence. After slating across the Frankfurt club scene throughout the early 2000s, Jung and Bodmer created their collaborative project M.A.N.D.Y. and soon founded the Get Physical label.

The pair's next big release comes with their debut album 'Double Fantasy', dropping this week on the imprint. Jung and Bodmer will be celebrating the LP all week in Miami and later at a secret Brooklyn located in collaboration with House Of Yes, where they will share the stage in New York City for the first time in six years for Dévotion's two-year anniversary.
