You can't knock the way Tumble go about their upfront, in-your-face release policy and the latest - label co-founder Lyka's 'Buff Girls'- is about as brash, brazen and brilliant as it gets. The title-track lands like a melee of sound, referencing grime, funky and bassline without ever sounding like one or the other, while the phrenetic pace and power of grime smash' Lunar Leng' is chaotic, but really enjoyable. Final track 'Trips & Whispers' is all snarling, low-end wobble and bleepy synth work, a track that Timbah deconstructs and blasts into space on his trippy, off-kilter remix.
